Clonal survival of MEF does not depend on PIDD or PARP-1. (a) Cells (20 000/genotype) were plated in 3-cm dishes and the next day cells were either left untreated or irradiated with 10 Gy. The following days, cells were harvested by trypsin treatment and counted with a haemocytometer. The number of surviving cells was determined after normalisation to untreated cells.
