PML protein and PML mRNA level are increased in human AD brains. (a) Micrograph of immunostaining with PML in the brains of human AD clearly showed that PML was increased in neurons of the temporal cortex in familial AD (FAD) and sporadic AD (SAD) brains. (b) Western blot analysis reveals that PML protein level was significantly elevated in the superior temporal cortex of SAD brains (n=5) in comparison to control (n=5).
