Participants’ averaged responses to statements on the distractibility scale. For example, responses to the statement “While the conversation was taking place, the conversation was noticeable” could range from 1, “not at all noticeable,” to 7, “very noticeable.” A response of 4 indicated “neither noticeable nor not noticeable.”
