(A) Western blot data of EMT markers and ERK1/2 activation in HK-2 cells overexpressing non-myristoylated GLIPR-2. GLIPR-2 expression was elevated in GLIPR-2- and non-myr GLIPR-2-transfected HK-2 cells. However, p-ERK1/2 and EMT markers did not change in the non-myr GLIPR-2-transfected HK-2 cells. The cell migration results were consistent with the Western blot data (B). The data are presented as the mean ± SD. *P<0.01 compared with the pcDNA3.0 group and non-myristoylated GLIPR-2 group.
