hCXCR3 and hCCX-CKR co-expression decreases the number of chemokine binding sites, but not chemokine affinities. Homologous displacement curves were obtained for [125I]-CXCL10 (A), [125I]-CXCL11 (B) and [125I]-CCL19 (C) in cells expressing hCXCR3 alone (A and B, empty symbols), hCCX-CKR alone (C, empty symbols) or cells co-expressing hCXCR3 and hCCX-CKR (A-C, filled symbols). Data were normalized to specific binding in cells expressing CXCR3 or CCX-CKR alone. Data are given as averages ± SEM of specific binding from three independent experiments performed in triplicate.
