Involvement of the C2 domain in inhibition of [³H]NA secretion by PRIP. PC12 cells expressing EGFP, EGFP-PRIP-WT, or EGFP-PRIPΔC2 were incorporated with [³H]NA and then subjected to [³H]NA secretion assay induced by high K⁺ solution (56 mm KCl) for 2 min. The upper panels show the expression levels of EGFP constructs in three independent cell lines, detected by anti-GFP antibody. There was no apparent difference in exocytosis among these cell lines. All of the data are the means ± S.D. of five experiments using three independent cell lines for each construct.
