Overexpression of LAT inhibits Th2 cytokine production and promoted Th1 cytokine production in human peripheral blood T cells in both asthmatic patients and healthy controls. Purified peripheral blood T cells from allergic asthmatic patients and healthy controls were nucleofected with pCMV-myc-LAT, pCMV-myc, LAT-siRNA plasmids separately.
