(A) Ovarian cancer cells were seeded in Matrigel-coated transwell inserts and treated with different doses of FGF2 for 24 h. (B) Cells were pre-treated with wortmannin (1 µM), rapamycin (20 nM) or U0126 (10 µM) for 30 min and seeded in Matrigel-coated transwell inserts and cultured with 10 ng/ml FGF2 for 24 h. Results represent the mean ± SEM [(A) n = 3; (B) n = 6; values without a common letter are significantly different, P<0.05]. Data were analyzed by one-way ANOVA followed by Tukey's multiple comparison test.
