Type 1 cytokines are decreased and Type 2 cytokines increased by Survivin. Cytokine ELISA shows decreased production of inflammatory cytokines IFN-γ and IL-2 by CD4+ and CD8+ T cells and increased IL-4 and IL-13 production by CD4+ cells in the presence of Survivin.
