Caco-2 spheroids were treated with a cell lysis buffer to induce maximum LDH leakage (Max), medium only as control(CTR), EO 20 and 40 µM or EP 20 and 40 µM at 37 °C for 24 h. LDH activity was determined by a fluorescent assay (n = 3). Data are reported as percentage of maximum LDH release and values are presented as means±SD, p>0.05 vs. medium only-treated control.
