Adrenal enzyme and StAR protein levels following leptin receptor antagonist infusion in control and LTH fetuses. Protein was also lower in the LTH fetuses compared with control for CYP11A1 (A) and StAR (C) (*P < 0.05). Leptin antagonist infusion restored protein expression to control values (A and C). CYP17 (B) followed a similar trend that approached statistical significance (P = 0.06). Antagonist infusion had no effect on protein levels in the control fetuses.
