Control of ROS on Th1, Th2 paradigm. Increasing the concentration of ROS suppresses the number of Th1 cells and increases the number of Th2 cells. Moreover, it increases the proapoptotic genes such as FasL and Bim. Lower concentration of ROS/RNS promotes the expression of antiapoptotic genes. RNS, reactive nitrogen species.
