Abbreviations: A, number of alleles per locus; HE, expected heterozygosity; HO, observed heterozygosity. FIT is the correlation of alleles within an individual relative to the total sample; FIS is the correlation of alleles within an individual relative to the population; FSC is the correlation of alleles within a subpopulation relative to the region; and FCT is the correlation of alleles within a region relative to the total population.

HO and HE were calculated assuming a single Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium population. Fixation indices were calculated using the hierarchical structure as described in the methods. Asterisks indicate values significantly >0 at P<0.05.
