In vitro treatment with TRA-8 decreased the percentage of ALDH⁺ cells in 2LMP and SUM159 breast cancer cell lines. 2LMP and SUM159 cells (80,000 cells/well) were treated with TRA-8 (10 ng/ml) for 24 h, and adriamycin (200 nM) or taxol (200 nM) for 48 h in 6-well cell culture plates.
