The total number of correct answers performed during the post-training and the retest sessions have been computed for the four different groups of participants. Night groups significantly increased their performance in the re-test session, while a decrease in performance was found in Day groups, thus demonstrating the beneficial sleep effect on MR learning, independently of the gender effect. Error bars indicate one SD.
