Fibroblast data is shown for GFP-tau [33]. Ensconsin turnover was measured by expression of its microtubule-binding domain fused to 5 GFPs [37]. EB1-GFP turnover on microtubule ends was measured in both mitotic and interphase Xenopus egg extracts [38]. Half times of recovery are given as mean ± SD, or as described in the publications cited.
