Transgenic tomato plants expressing HopQ1 exhibit enhanced disease susceptibility to Pto. T4 homozygous transgenic tomato plants expressing Dex-inducible HopQ1-3xFLAG or GFP were sprayed with 30 μm Dex 24 h before syringe infiltration with Pto DC3000.
