Percentage of wound contraction during the experimental period of treatment groups with SSFAO 50%, in natura avocado oil, EFA (control positive), or petroleum jelly (control negative). On the fifth day, SSFAO 50% or avocado oil groups maintained the percentage of contraction of wound slower, when compared to the EFA control. However, on the 14th day, there was a significant improvement in percentage wound contraction in the SSFAO 50% or in natura avocado oil groups when compared to the petroleum jelly control.
