Significant deficit in fear acquisition is observed in GluD1 KO mice (n = 6) during the fourth US session compared to WT mice (n = 8) (P = 0.0400). 24 hrs later after fear conditioning, in the context post-test, the freezing response was significantly lower in GluD1 KO mice versus WT mice (P = 0.0113). Fecal boli produced were significantly lesser for the GluD1 KO mice versus WT mice (P = 0.0108). Data are presented as mean ± SEM. * represents P< 0.05.
