Gating for GFP+ cells was as described. Propidium iodide–based fluorescence was measured after compensation for GFP fluorescence spillover in the Fl2-A (APC) channel. A total of 50,000 events were recorded. The population sizes in the respective cell cycle stages were estimated using the Jett–Dean algorithm for cell cycle modeling.
ESC, embryonic stem cells; SEM, standard error of the mean; FMR, fusion-mediated reprogramming; GFP, green fluorescent protein.
