CDK1-treated USP1_ID is able to pull down UAF1. Wild-type USP1_ID with an N-terminal GST tag was treated with either CDK1 or CK2. The treated USP1_ID was bound to glutathione resin and used as bait for the pull-down assay. Both the eluted protein solutions and the wash solutions were analyzed on a denaturing SDS-PAGE gel and detected by Coomassie blue staining. USP1_ID treated with CDK1 allowed efficient pull down of UAF1, while the CK2-treated USP1_ID did not pull down UAF1.
