Schematic representation of PEG-PLA nanocapsules containing Polyhemoglobin-tyrosinase (PolyHb-TYR). PolyHb-TYR retained inside is separated and protected from external antibodies, leucocytes and tryptic enzymes. Smaller molecules like tyrosine can equilibrate rapidly into the nanocapsules to be removed and converted by PolyHb-TYR into L-dopa that can diffuse out.
