(a) Enzyme retains good stability at a storage temperature of 4oC (b and c) At body temperature of 37 °C free tyrosinase activity decreases very quickly 16% after only 2.5 hours. On the other hand, the activity of nanoencapsulated tyrosinase retained over 80 % of the initial activity for at least 8 hours and it is still 64.5% after 24 hours and 30% after 48 hours - within the therapeutic time range of 48 hours.
