Chart showing the mean ADC values of the cortical fractions in the electrographically normal and seizure onset regions of the epileptic subjects. The control values represent the mean ADC values from the corresponding regions of the control subjects. The three-way interaction between the groups (epileptic and control subjects), electrographic types (normal and onset) and cortical fractions was significant (p = 0.014). The partial volume effect from CSF can be noted with an exponential increase of ADC values from deeper to superficial cortical fractions.
