CTB was added at a two fold increase in doses (3.91–500 ng) after (black bars), together (grey bars) or before (striped boxes) the bovine lactoferrin administration, and incubated in total for 3 h. The white bars represent the control group (CTB alone). The absorbance was read at 450 nm in an ELISA plate reader.
