FABP4 regulates SCF and eNOS expression in mouse airways. WT, FABP4−/−, VEGF-TG, and VEGF-TG/FABP4−/− mice were given dox-water for 14 days (n = 6 per group). Tracheas were harvested, and total RNA was isolated. Real-time PCR was performed to determine the relative steady-state mRNA expression levels of SCF and eNOS.
