Contact imaging results based on “ePetri dish”. This system is able to track cell division events (shown by the arrows) for various cell types. Images shown here are obtained sequentially at three different locations (A,B,C) of the same image sensor with ~30 minute time increments. When a cell division occurs, the cell detaches from the sensor surface and the sample to sensor distance considerably increases, creating spatial aberrations.
