Cytokine secretion by antiergotypic T cells. The media of the DLN cells of the three groups described in Figure 7, nontreated, pcDNA3 vaccinated, and CD25 vaccinated, responding to A6-S or A6-R at day 22 of AA induction were taken after 72 hours in culture and analyzed by ELISA for (A) IFN-γ or (B) IL-10. The results are presented in picograms per milliliter. This is a representative experiment of three repetitions. The P values indicate a significant decrease in IFN-γ secretion and an increase in IL-10 secretion compared with rats vaccinated with the empty vector.
