Generation of recombinant influenza A virus. Reconstituted ribonucleoprotein (RNP) complex which has RNA in vitro transcribed with foreign epitopes and functional viral core proteins was transfected into Madin-Darby bovine kidney (MDBK) cells that had been infected with WSN-HK helper virus.
