Survival analysis of WT and ASC−/− mice following WNV infection. Eight- to 10-week-old WT and ASC−/− mice were inoculated subcutaneously with 10 PFU (A) or 100 PFU (B) of WNV and monitored twice daily for mortality. The data shown are pooled from two independent experiments (n = 19 per group for 10 PFU and n = 36 per group for 100 PFU).
