^aFor comparison of growth of A. mimigardefordensis strain DPN7^T and the defined A. mimigardefordensis Δacd mutant, cells were cultivated on solid MSM containing the carbon sources mentioned above at a concentration of 0.2% (wt/vol). This is equivalent to 21 mM sodium propionate, 12 mM disodium succinate, 9 mM sodium gluconate, 10 mM DTDP, and 11 mM 3SP.
