[¹⁴C]Glycine (2.5 ×10⁻⁵ M final concentration) was added to an aliquot of the wild type (■, LB; ▲, MOPs) and mutant cycA (▼, LB; ◆, MOPs) strains grown and resuspended in LB or MOPs glucose medium and assayed over a 5-min period. Each data point represents the average from three experimental replicates for each condition tested.
