Comparison of the mean and standard deviation (s.d.) values of the time-averaged spatial density (mean events per timestep on the 100×100 lattice) of spiral tips (sw) and target wave origins (tw), and Pearson correlation coefficient values (C) between the element property c (at t = 0) and pattern features for the different developmental paths (σ of Gaussian blur = 5 pixels). Values are based on 100 runs per path with different time offset distributions for each run. As virtually no phase singularities were detected for case (−−), the corresponding quantities were not calculated.
