Table V.
Percentages of Molecules that Entered FA Zones via Lateral Diffusion after Binding to the PM Outside FA Zones or Directly Arrived in the FA Zone from the Cytoplasm. Unlike the Values in Table IV, these Percentages were Separately Evaluated for Molecules that Exhibited at Least One TALL Period + the All-time Immobile Mode and for those Exhibited the All-time Mobile Mode
Molecules that exhibited TALL and the all-time immobile mode | Molecules that exhibited the all-time mobile mode | |||
---|---|---|---|---|
Molecules | Via PM | Direct | Via PM | Direct |
All molecules that entered the FA zone (%molecules) | ||||
WT | 5.0 ± 0.2 | 6.4 ± 0.8 | 65.2 ± 4.8 | 23.4 ± 4.1 |
G12V | 16.3 ± 1.1 | 13.0 ± 3.2 | 51.8 ± 5.1 | 18.9 ± 1.8 |
Tail | 3.3 ± 0.9 | 2.0 ± 0.2 | 74.9 ± 1.1 | 19.8 ± 0.3 |
Molecules that exhibited TALL or immobile periods longer than 0.48 s in the FA zone (%molecules) | ||||
WT | 1.6 ± 0.7 | 2.1 ± 1.2 | 68.7 ± 4.9 | 27.7 ± 4.8 |
G12V | 8.5 ± 1.3 | 5.5 ± 1.4 | 59.6 ± 5.7 | 26.4 ± 3.6 |
Tail | 0.7 ± 0.1 | 0.8 ± 0.1 | 77.5 ± 0.3 | 21.1 ± 0.3 |
The period of 0.48 s was selected because it was the exponential lifetime of TALL events for G12V, which is constitutively active.
