TCDD downregulates canonical Wnt target genes in the mouse UGS. E14.5 male UGSs were cultured for 3 days in media containing 10nM DHT and either vehicle (0.1% dimethyl sulfoxide [DMSO]) or TCDD (1nM). RT PCR was performed to distinguish differences in mRNA expression of the canonical Wnt target genes, Lef1, Tcf1, and Wif1, between vehicle and TCDD-treated UGS samples. Results are mean ± SE for at least four litter-independent samples per treatment. Asterisk indicates a significant decrease compared with control p < 0.05.
