The voltage-dependence of capsaicin-activated current was determined (using voltage ramps) before (red) or after (blue) exposure to external QX-314 (10 mM) and capsaicin (1 μM) for 150 s. Current-voltage curve after loading was determined after washout of external QX-314. Currents were normalized relative to the current at −80 mV.
