Peak “a” indicates the picloram added as an internal control at the beginning of the extraction process; Peak “b” indicates the IBA-glucose conjugates. The extracts were analyzed with a linear gradient of methanol in H₂O from 10–70% (all solutions contained 0.01% H₃PO₄) over 30 min at 1 ml/min and monitored at 280 nm.
