6OHDA induces Nrf2 nuclear localization. (A and B) Standard culture conditions elicit Nrf2 nuclear translocation. To desaturate the assay, cells were incubated in low serum media (1% FBS) for 24 h and nuclear localization was quantified by two methods as described in the Materials and methods section. Example images of cells scored as cytoplasmic Nrf2-GFP or cytoplasmic+nuclear Nrf2-GFP are shown. Mean+/−SEM, *p<0.05 vs. 10% FBS.
