IL-1β mRNA in fetal lung was measured by rt-PCR after different intraamniotic injections at different intervals prior to preterm delivery at 125d (80% gestation). The mean mRNA level in the control group was set to 1. mRNA levels of each group were expressed as fold increase relative to controls.
