Notes: *ICD-9-CM diagnosis codes 571.2, 571.5, 571.6; all listed diagnoses. In general, the number of hospital discharges for cirrhosis (International Classification of Diseases, Clinical Modification, Ninth Edition codes 571.0–571.9) tended to increase from 1993 to 2010.
