CV measurements employed 0.1 M TBAPF6 in CH2Cl2 as the supporting electrolyte and a platinum disk electrode (A = 0.0314 cm2). Simulated data: diffusion coefficient of the dye is 7 × 10-6 cm2/s; uncompensated resistance 800 Ω; capacitance 3 × 10-7 F. The dimerization constant was set equal to 400 M-1 s-1 with a deprotonation constant of 1010 s-1.
