Effects of (a) acylated steryl glycoside (ASG), (b) oryzanol, (c) gamma amino butyric acid (GABA), and (d) ASG + GABA + Oryzanol, on HEP-G2 cell viability. HEP-G2 cells treated with ASG, GABA and oryzanol were incubated for 24 h, after which cell viability was determined. Each data point and the error bars on the graph represent mean ± standard deviation (n = 4). Linear regression analyses (represented by the black lines and equations on each graph) show a strong correlation between the concentrations of the extracts and cell viability data obtained from the experiment, as suggested by the high R2 values.
