Panel b, shows the positive correlation of the left ventricular remodelling index (LVRi) with the variable MR. Note that in patients with better performing left ventricles and in patients with a higher LVRi, indicating a more favourable amount of LV mass compared with LV end-diastolic volume, there is a better microvascular autoregulatory function
