Expression patterns of 10 genes whose expression levels were putatively suppressed after fertilization in rice zygotes. Semi-quantitative RT–PCR was performed on total RNAs isolated from egg cells and zygotes using primers specific for the putatively down-regulated genes listed in Table 3.
