The frequency of LCE3C_LCE3B-del in the homozygous state (blue) is higher in most non-Sub-Saharan African populations, with the exception of few ethnic groups. By contrast, the non-deletion homozygous state (red) tends to be more frequent in Sub-Saharan Africans, with the exception of few ethnic groups (KAR, ITL and YAK).
