Overexpression of PAR1 confers hypersensitivity to paraquat. A, Analysis of PAR1 overexpression in Col-0, par1-1, and Super:PAR1-MYC (OE lines) using qRT-PCR. RNA prepared from 2-week-old seedlings was used for this assay, and the means of three replicates ± sd are shown. Similar results were obtained in three independent experiments. B, Immunoblot analysis of PAR1 protein in the plants described in A using an anti-MYC antibody. Equal loading was verified by Coomassie blue staining. RBCL, Rubisco large subunit.
