Biotinylated splenocytes were injected intra-articularly into the knee joint of healthy BALB/c mice. Periarticular (left), popliteal (middle) or inguinal (right) lymph nodes were prepared 18 h (top) or 24 h (bottom) after injection. Splenocytes were visualized in red by staining with peroxidase-labelled streptavidin and AEC; counterstaining with hematoxylin is shown in blue.
