Empirical size results for B=107 simulated data sets and n0=n1=700 assuming the true correlation among the phenotypes is unstructured, as given in Table 1. For multiple phenotype analyses, independent (I), exchangeable (E), and unstructured (U) working correlation structures were considered. The results from the 4-DF GEE test with I, E, and U working correlation structures are nearly identical. The results from the 1-DF SMAT with the I and E working correlation structures are nearly identical.
