The mean duration of disease in the chronic group (5.1 ± 0.6 years) was significantly longer than in the initial group (0.8 ± 0.6 years; P < 0.001);

The mean duration of disease in the ulcerative colitis (UC) with dysplasia group (10.5 ± 1.4 years) was significantly longer than in other groups (P < 0.05);
