C57BL/6 mice were either housed by themselves, or co-housed with Il22−/− mice for four weeks. Mice were then given 2% DSS in their drinking water for seven days. (A) Mice were massed daily. Shown is mean change in mass for each group over time. (B) Survival of mice at different days post-DSS. Mass loss at (C) day 7 post-DSS and (D) day 12 post-DSS.
